I've moved out of the house and went back today to check everything was ok. No burst pipes, pick up the post, make sure my neighbours haven't stolen anything etc.
Walked in the back door and all I could hear was the condensate pump going for it.
I'm guessing that the external waste pipe is frozen, fair enough it's bloody freezing, but there was no error code on the boiler. It was just dead, tried turning it off and on at the isolating switch on the wall but that only affected the condensate pump. I've left this off for now to save it going up in flames ( but given the current housing market that may not be a bad thing
)
I've got british gas home care cover on the boiler, it's fairly new, but they're impossible to get hold of just now, does anyone have a clue if it'll magically come back on once things warm up?
