Hi everyone,

My boiler makes frequently loud noises

And often gives me the E133 and E119 errors; the first one goes away after resetting.

E133: Interruption Of Gas Supply or Flame Failure
E119: Low pressure/Water Pressure Switch Not Operated

I recall that the last winter I had to repressurize quite often but I do not seem to be able to find any leak and now it's been a while since I had that problem.

Problems usually start during the winter when I operate the central heating.

Any suggestion on what to try and investigate or what the problem might be?

Thank you

Looks like expansion vessel gone for starters

e133 is for a qualified engineer to investigate.

you need to repressurise the vessel outside the boiler and also the engineer needs to adjust/ replace the g valve as these are murder when starting up with that noise , also these valves are murder for letting by so contact an engineer . try turning the temp dial up to get rid of the noise for the time being or better still turn your boiler off to be on the safe side . actually done 3 in last 2 weeks
