Help please

Firstly the c/h stopped working (pump is free)

I noticed some of the relays were carbonised due to arcing so I cleaned them
I also went through both boards and sorted out various dry joints mainly on the plug pins everything seemed fine so I powered up.

now every time I ask for hot water or c/h it locks out - the flame lights - burns for a few secs goes out, comes on, goes out then locks out.

any help apreciated

Drain boiler and turn off mains.

Remove wax capsule from Divertor Vlv and lubricate the pin. Replace and try the c/heating.

This doesnt explain the h/water problem though.

Other than that...thermistor...pcb fault. Pump impellor snapped?

Hi just to let you know

all my cleaning of relay contacts and soldering of dry joints was not in vain the problem is now sorted thanks Soggy_weetabix.

the ceramic round the flame detector broke and moved the detector away from the flame

I now live in a toasty house again
