After a few minutes of having the CH on, the pilot light goes out and there is a click. It relights but repeats a few minutes later. The hot water tap supply is fine when the PL is on. The water pressure is fine and I bled the radiators. The first one on the system had quite a bit of air in but this is now gone. The CH then worked ok for an evening but is now back to extinguishing the PL.

I've been through the manual's diagnostic which tells me everything is fine. Clearly not. Any help gratefully received.

Perhaps there is an overheat stat connected to the thermocouple line. If so, restricted flow through heat exchanger (air lock, sludge blockage?) would cause overheat and pilot outage.
