Afternoon all.
My Potterton Puma 80 has decided to stop working. Pilot light on, pressure at about 1.3 bar, it just doesn't fire when hot tap or central heating switched on.
Questions:
Being a DIY numbskull, I'm hoping someone can give me some pointers as to what it might be, how much it will cost to repair, and if anyone can recommend a good plumber in the Warwick/Leamington area?

Thanks in advance.

There are so many problems that could cause that so I cannot make any useful guesses.

The last one I went to was yesterday and the ignition PCB was faulty.

We charge a diagnostic fee of £84 plus parts but the parts cost up to about £148 if the fan or gas valve have failed.

But I am not sure if I am going to L/S this week. I did have a trainee from Cubbington but he was not CORGI registered and when I looked in the phone book last week I could not find him so I suspect he has given it up as he was rather struggling with the technicalities.

I am sure even Heateam could struggle past the Castle Balti !
