Wrong answer Breezer!

The prsssure/expansion vessel on any combi should be checked every 2/3 years. Having the pressure wrong is the reason for a good proportion of the queries on this forum. Do a search on Pressure Vessel.

The heating system pressure should be let down via a heating system drain cock, not with the pressure relief valve. Then you have to find the scraeder type valve on the pressure vessel. Ussually at the top but this can vary - sometimes at the bottom and always tricky to reach. Pump the PV up to 0.7 -1.0 bar, = 10 to 15 psi, with a car foot pump.

If water comes out the PV is leaking internally. The system will work but you need a new pressure vessel as the air wil keep dissolving in the water.

When that's done fill the ch system using the filling loop, to 1 bar. Disconnect the filling loop when done.
