Intermittent problem with boiler shutting down at random times with mains led flashing & boiler temp control at 80% of max, off for between 25 min. & 4 hours. Pcb considered most likely culprit by Potterton technical & my boiler guy; new pcb fitted. First day ok, second day same problem but this time all led's off. Checked boiler mains input terminal block voltages as:- with boiler running, switched live & pump live (predictably) 240v; with boiler off & stats. at set temp, sw live 47.8v & pump live 0.4v. In the fault state sw live 88.7v & pump live 0.073v. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
