Hello,

I had the above boiler installed about 5 years ago and it has been trouble free but has now developed an intermitant fault. I have had Corgi engineer out a couple of times and it has been a bit of a waste of time as he hasn't found anything wrong.

The fault conditon is that the boiler when trying to relight goes to the lockout condition:

Slow flashing green LED, fast flashing green LED, then flashing red LED.

I've seen the fault occur and the boiler doesn't try the 3 attempts to start, just the one then lock-out.

I switched the gas supply off last night and it did attempt 3 times to start so I guess that rules out the gas valve.

Any suggestions before I call the engineer again!

LOTS OF PROBLEMS WITH THIS BOILER SUGGEST CHEAPEST IN LONG RUN WOULD BE THE MAKERS

I have had same problem caused by a poor quality printed circuit board.
Pottertons brought out a improved replacement available from curzons heating cost approx £130
