Hi all,
I have a potterton suprima 70he which in the last two days is intermittently going into lockdown - the error code is ; Air Pressure Switch Cycling Lockout,

the boiler will manually reset and work fine for an hour or two then quit again

can anyone help me with this??

thanks Steve

The code indicates a combustion problem which we dont advise on here.

But it could also be a PCB/software problem as well. Some others may be able to say if thats a common problem with that model.

If it were the PCB then a careful DIYer can change that.

But if wrongly diagnosed then its an expensive part at about £200 !

Wouldn't you need accesses to the combustion chamber for that ?
Now don't get me wrong I'm not the gas police and if people want to medal in things they don't understand do it at your peril

Thats what worries me!! Wierdly enough it seems to do it more when its heating the hot water only

PCBs are housed away from the combustion chamber.

They have to be because they need a cooler environment!
