Potterton suprima trips out when hot water comes on

Hi I have a problem with my 3 year old Potterton suprima 60 HE

The boiler has started to cut out when the siemens timer cuts the hot water in this is currently set at 6.30 am or 8.30 pm if i switch the timer to on therefore taking it off the auto setting the boiler stays on all ok The central heating is working ok on any timer setting

in short boiler cuts out when water cuts in on timer but is ok if water is on constant.

Any thoughts

Without any knowledge of your system we can only guess!

However, it could be that its wrongly wired or a motor valve is faulty and the boiler is being powered when there is no valve open and there is no bypass fitted.

All total speculation which is not an activity that I encourage.

Thanks i realise you havent got much info to go on .
i have noticed that the valve in the airing cupboard that switches from hot water to heating or both has got noisy in the last few weeks could this be something to do with it

But I dont know how your system is configured!
