Hi all

Problems finding a solution for a shower in a mobile home

We've got an all in one newlec immersion tank with the cold
tank sat on top (about head height) - i've read all i can find
here and not found an ideal solution

the power shower idea seems to need the cold tank to be higher
so my question is will a pump under the bath and a mixer be ok

i'm definitely on a budget and there's the consideration of too
many amps (63a incoming mccb) - any thoughts or threads i've missed?

cheers - J

Replace with unvented for peace of mind, balance hot and cold, silent delivery and high build quality. Pumps will be noisy and do breakdown.

shower pumps are horrid things. very noisy.

why not fit a venturi shower? ideal standard make one called the 'trevi boost' and it is excellent - the only one worth fitting.

the cold side of the valve connects to the rising cold main (hence is at mains pressure) whilst the hot is taken from the tank. the force of the mains cold water is passed through a venturi inside the valve to draw the hot water into the mixer. five year warranty. have fitted lots of these and everyone has been very very pleased with them.

worth looking into. the valve costs about 300 quid.

fitted many also not been back to one of mine.

got called to one over 5 yrs old Trevis sent me parts for free to repair it.

As for how well it works better than you could possibly imagine. Far superior to a pump.
