Two Magnacleans were used on a powerflush today.
One on the flush unit and one installed on the return to the boiler before the flush. The boiler is an old Orion 40 BF.
Initially, a boiler swap was suggested by another installer(?), without a flush and without allowing for a filter of sorts.
How long would it have been before this sludge blocked and damaged the new boiler and invalidated the warranty?
A simple draindown does not remove this extent of sludge. The flow temp at the pump inlet improved by 23 degrees C.
Cowboys! Grrrr
