I've got a solid wall house (1930s) with the walls back to brick. I've been looking at the options with regards to internal and external insulation, and leaning towards internal insulation.
My current plan was to render the internal brickwork flat using hardwall, give it a week or so to dry, and then apply the insulated plasterboard on top using adhesive.
I've read in some places hardwall maybe isn't the best option for solid walls - so was also considering 5:1 S&C with waterproofer instead.
Just wanted to see if this seems like a viable route to go down? I don't really have concerns with damp as the property currently hasn't had any damp issues for a long time, and I'd intend to redo the exterior render in the summer.
