I would like to internally insulate an external solid wall the bedroom of my Victorian terrace. I have looked at a number of techniques such as battening with celotex and plasterboard and insulated plasterboard. I prefer the insulated plasterboard route with Kooltherm etc. but the cost per board is just so much more expensive than buying the insulation and plasterboard separate.
Do you think it would be possible to make your own with a sheet of celotex, a very strong adhesive and then a plasterboard on top?
Cheers
