Hello, I have recently started to have a few issues with my Baxi Combi boiler 105e. The first sign was that the outlet was continuously dripping. I called a plumber in and he noticed that the inlet valve had been knocked a little so was continuously letting water into the system. He then also replaced the pressure release valve.
This has sorted the drip, but I now have problems with the pressure. When the heating is not on, the pressure seems to drop off to pretty much zero. This seems to make the boiler struggle when hot water is needed. However, when the heating comes on, or is switched on, the pressure increases.
My plumber told me the system needs to be at 1bar when its cold for it to still work, so when its low, I top the system up. However, this often causes the pressure to rise above the recommended 2.5bar. It all seems a little all over the place!!
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
Rich
