You have to drain the cylinder so no hot water while you are fiddling with the rads.
Best to install a proper cylinder and a header tank and then you can do wat you like with the rads and still have hot water!

Don't put an inhibitor in the system.
Best to get rid of the cylinder while your playing with it.
