Problem with AEG Lavamat Turbo 16810

Hi - the spin cycle sounds really gravelly, and eventually shows an E20 error message, which seems is related to the drain, pump, etc.

I have already cleaned/emptied the filter from the small access door on the bottom/right of the machine, but cannot access beyond that.

My question is how do I access the pump on this model, and once I've accessed it, what should I do?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Tried to do a full wash, and now the machine has stopped, showing a flashing E20 message - with the drum full of water.

Any help would be appreciated...

If you Google E20 16810 you'll find dozens of examples fo this fault. Can't see many solutions, though.
