I wanted to put a link to a website in a recent post using the "url=" format.

The link was to: http://nl.remeha.com/index.php?id=151&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=65&tx_ttnews[backPid]=80&cHash=0c5b08d176

As you will see this has square brackets in the link so, using the "url=" format of {url=http://nl.remeha.com/index.php?id=151&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=65&tx_ttnews[backPid]=80&cHash=0c5b08d176} Press Release{/url} ({} substituted for [] to make it clear) it comes out as

=65&tx_ttnews[backPid]=80&cHash=0c5b08d176] Press Release

I suspect nothing can be done about it; I just want to draw it to Admin's attention.

Open the page you want to link to and use TinyURL to shorten the link address
Thanks for the suggestion. I have see TinyURL references before, but did not understand what they were. You have enlightened me!

Noted, thanks for bringing it to my attention :)
