I have just fitted a pump to supply a new shower & bath taps. The pump has a seperate cold feed from the tank & hot feed via a Surrey Flange.

When filling the bath the hot water seems to run cold whilst the taps on the sink which run off the normal gravity system continue to run pipeing hot.

Does anyone have an explanation for this & suggestions to over come the lack of hot water to the Bath/Shower.

Thanks in advance

The shower runs similar to the bath ie seems to run out of hot water before the hot tap on the sink does.
The main problem is that the hot tank doesn't seem to supply enough hit water to fill the bath before running out of hot water

You have just answered your own question, if the pump is fitted with a setting switch 1, 2, or 3. Try turning it down from a high setting. The power of the pump is greater than the supply. Why did you fit a pump in the first place?

if the bath water from the pump has run cold and the basin tap is still hot then its not the supply. as they both come from the top of the cylinder.
