Problem with Ikea Whirlpool Dishwasher

Hi there

Just wondering if anyone can help - I have an Ikea Whirlpool Dishwasher. It stops working after about 15/20 mins, when it bleeps continuously and the light is flashing 15 times. It is also stuck on the half setting.

I'm just wondering if it's something relatively straight forward to fix or if it's dishwasher repairman time!

hi Natasha welcome to the forums! Can you clarify if any light flashing corresponds to a symbol on the display, is it a constant beep or a count of beeps and a space? As you may be aware the normal cycle is to first check for water in the base along other things and drain any residual, perhaps it's timed out here. No blockages? Put some water in the base, start it up again and check water is coming out in the drain. Check water pressure is good is the tap to dishwasher definitely on? Some have leak sensors in the base which trigger an alert.
If it's nothing obvious re above yes best you call one.
