Hello. I have a Glow-worm combi. The heating is working fine and the boiler is heating the hot water but not as hot as normal. Even at the maximum hot water setting the water is only lukewarm. Any suggestions please before I call somebody out as I am a single mum and can't afford to spend the money on something that have a simple answer.

Thanks

Dirt in the system?

I wonder how a single mum ( why? ) can deal with that?

Probably the flow rate specially this time of year you will get about 35deg rise on incoming supply at say 9 litres a min guessing 42-45degs which is lukewarm especially when filling a bath you will find the sink/basin will be hotter as the flow is less two options replace boiler for a 30kw or restrict flow at tap and wait or third option fit a shower
