fitted a new hot water cylinder not touched any thing else.
Drained the system down fitted the new cylinder and filled the system back up, problem is the boiler seem to had air in it and tried venting got some air out but no more. tried to puss it out with hose pipe mains pressure got a little more but the boiler is still bubbling and tripping out. I can still hear the bubbling when it fires up , trips out after 20 secs. Any Ideas how to get the air out.
Emptyed the system four times now and refilled still to no avail.

Remember every time you put water into it your also putting air back into it.Is your auto air release valve working?

yes pump is working.
there isn't an auto air valve there is a manual one next to the check valve but no air coming from it just water.
Air is trapped in the boiler which is wall mounted down stairs below the upstairs rads.

is the water circulating ?
did you bleed the pump ?

what check valve ?

sorted it
pump was vibrating so assumed it was running just took it out and some debrie stuck in it. freed the pump and working now.
going to fill system now hopefully sorted it now. but thanks for all your advice.

if the pump is circulating ok and you bleed it of air the system should run ok and the boiler not trip out and air will be released.
