Problems with Baxi Solo 18HE

Hi all

My boiler is locking out, and the according to the sequence of lights it is pointing to dry-fire, and the system needing to be filled and bled or flow/return reversed.

The problem is I can't seem to find a fill loop anywhere along with pressure gauge to check. When opening bleed valve on radiator there doesn't seem to be any pressure.

As this was fitted (2009) before I purchased the house (2013), I have no idea where everything is. I have no idea where the pump is (or if it has one), etc

Any ideas of what I could do to check, before getting someone in? I'm fairly handy, and would love to resolve this.

After doing some reading this morning, it seems that most likely I have an open vented system (but could be wrong) with a F&E tank in the loft.

Just to update for anyone else who ever experiences this, the problem was the float valve was seized and F&E tank was empty.

Moved it about and all working now. Decided to add a cleaner to tank, and will drain, and refill on the weekend with an inhibitor.
