:? The element on my proline oven ef6200w has stopped working. Replacing it seemed straight forward until I had to remove the back plate cover to gain acess to the element. I was amazed to find some kind of unconventional fixings securing the back plate to the oven. Does any body no where or what tool can be used to remove these fixings?

They're probably torx or star bits. You can get these cheaply from anywhere like B+Q, Screwfix etc. Most accessories kits come with all types of common screwdriver bits. Is there a raised dot in the centre of the screw? This will indicate security fixings. The bits for these are also readily available.

Obviously if you post a photo someone will tell you which bit you need and probably also the size.
