Hi all! As my reason is one that I have read many 'other' reports on I still have the need t ask for myself. The listed Potterton junk heater, is continually sounding like an air bubble is trapped in the system. BUT, when this 1st occurred two engineers had to call to see about rectifying the problem? Both replaced what the other had replaced and the same deafening noise is still occurring? All I can say is that we are near the end of 3 years of this and I am about to replace it myself if I have to get some silence in our home! Does anyone know of the best combi boiler that I can invest my money in purchasing? It would be best if I ask this and you can give me a straight answer and then I can have a heating system that might be as good as my previous Potterton Netaheat 16-22 that in 23 years of excellent service cost me £50 each year to get serviced and only went wrong twice - and then it cost less than £20 to correct! Wonder where the reliability has gone today? Any ideas re my replacement will be gladly received.
