Hi
I'm looking to install a PUG/Biscuit Mix for UFH onto suspended ground floor 1930s brick built. Trying to maximise as much low temp heat thru to floor as poss as ASHP.
Options were:
Celotex 100mm but 25mm of that to be above original joists (new Battens are going on top of joists). From Memory the original Joist depth is at least 150mm.
Then Biscuit mx. Was planning concrete type no ply board on top as structural deck. Then LVT or just plain vinyl as finished floor.
OR, in case of risk of joist rot am I better using breathable Sheep's wool or Woodfibre 75mm slotted in original joists and then 25mm Celotex above (this being within the new batten area.
and more importantly is it possible to lay LVT straight onto Concrete type board using just the adhesive for fixing?
Regards
