Central heating system is a Maxol Morocco 40 wall mounted balanced flue boiler running on the S plan system. Had problem with the pump overrun, replaced pump overrun stat, this is now working, but pump overrun seems excessively long, 13 minutes before pump shuts off, is this normal ?. Also when I replaced the pump overrun stat I notice that the overheat stat had been disconnected, would this effect the above or not and should I reconnect the overheat stat. I have no idea who or why this stat has been disconnected. Many thanks for any advice offered.

Overheat stat should NEVER have been disconnected & yes re-connect it, shud only come off for testing.
Sounds like there was a problem & instead of fixing it sum1 just disconnected the oh stat, very naughty, as for pump over-run it depends on boiler, baxi solo's are about 8-10 mins, check the manufacturers instructions.
