Hi,
My sister has had an extension to her bungalow and two additional rads were installed. Since the extension was completed the two new rads have never got hot, only luke warm. All existing radiators get hot. The new rads have been bled and the whole system has apparently been balanced. None of these actions have improved the situation. The existing rads are plumbed in with 15mm piping but the two new rads have been plumbed in with 10mm plastic piping. Could this be the problem? A friend has suggested that the pump speed on the boiler may need increasing. Is this a possibility? The boiler is a Worcester Bosch Greenstar Combi which is about 6 years old. We can't get the plumber back who installed the rads as he has health problems.
Any advice in pointing us in the right direction would be appreciated. We, of course, will need to get a professional plumber in to sort this problem out but it would be helpful if we could have some idea of what the issues might be.
Thanks
