Hello All,
Whilst in my local wholesalers I saw some inserts for 1 + 2 gang knockout boxes, they resemble little fire blankets !
When I asked if they were for soundproofing I was 'informed' that they were to prevent the spread of fire, and that they are about to become another building reg in this region ???
Has anybody else used these ??

Sorry, just saw a Marshalls ad which explains that the 'gasket' expands to cover the gap where the faceplate melts and stops the spread of flames no less !!
All to with Building Regs Document B, it mentions the 16th too ???
