I have a Quantum DB boiler which is about 3 years old and has done very little work. When it reaches modulation there is a loud sound like a fog horn from the exhaust pipe. A heating engineer has had the burner to bits and cleaned out the filter but it is still just as bad. Quantum don't want to know, have I made the wrong choice or can it be fixed.
