rad replacement

hi all
i am renewing 2 rads 700 x 1700 for some modern ones wha would you fit in their place? i know newer rads dont have to be as big for same effect but just wondered what you guys normally do??

yes but you may need to buy tails as well as old imperial ones are slightly bigger than new ones

yes im changing valves and tails but wondered what size rad to put in
was thinkin maybe 1200x600 or 1400x600

go for size that is nearest to one taking out and sorry i meant extension so rad fits without doing any recoppering
