We have taken all the tops of the trv's off and they seem as if they are heating up a bit. But the hall one and the front living room are still only warm.
We still have all the rads upstairs off except the middle rad. We weren't sure what you had in mind. So we thought perhaps we would try to balance the middle rad which when adjusted didn't have much effect on the 2 ones at front of house but the back living room got better.
We have a problem balancing the bathroom and middle bedroom rads at all, because these two won't lower the return temp. unless you turn it almost off. The bathroom rad is the only one not to have a trv.
I expect when we turn the rest of the upstairs rads on , we will be back to square one.
