Radiator Regulation Advice

I am installing a Towel Rail close to a door. As the door is swung open or shut, it passes within 17cm of the towel rail at its closest point.

Is this contrary to any regulations. Is there a maximum distance that a towel rail or radiator should be positioned from a door.

Not that I know of, just practical opening door/access issues.

Also, blokes have to learn to sidle past with their genitals facing away from the hot towel rail.

An issue to be considered is that small people or small parts may get stuck in the gap and squashed!
