Hi. I have an old radiator heating system with a pump in the basement and while it seems to be functioning properly, there is recently a constant flow of water coming out of the overflow tube down at the pump (it used to be just occasional drips and now is a flow of water coming out). Can anyone point to a reason for this? Is there something that would be causing this problem?

UK site I`m afraid ...But as a long shot - your pump may have a gland seal that is supposed to drip , to lubricate the seal ( as on some 1960`s commercial ones I marvelled at in the 90`s  ) tighten or better still re pack the gland
