Hi Folks,

Quick question. We have (in our rented house) a gas fired central heating and water (Potterton boiler, in the kitchen), and until recently all seemed well, though the upstairs was always a lot warmed than downstairs.

This evening, however, I noticed none of the radiators in the house (two downstairs, one in lounge, one in kitchen, three upstairs, one in each bedroom, and one in the bathroom. Water tank and pump both in airing cupboard in the bathroom) getting in the slightest bit warm. Eventually the bathroom radiator felt slightly warm.

Tried upping the thermostat to 30oC, no difference.

Hot water is definitely hot.

Pump seems to be maiking noise, probably ok, but not certain on this.

Haven't bled the radiators yet, as have no key (will grab one tommorow and try that), else, is there anything else i should try, other than calling the landlord and telling him to get it sorted?

Cheers!

Gavin.

No, it's not your problem, tell the landlord and don't touch it.
