I have a parkray fire but have problems with my radiators. The upstairs,of which there is 3 and on gravity feed are all cold, even with the pump on they dont work, any ideas.I have drained the system and still no results. The pump works for the downstairs ones but all the upstairs are cold.

I drained the system fully and then when it was filled I bled all the radiators. So no air now,but no heat in the upstairs.

I take it the centre screw is in the pump? The pump works for the downstairs rads, but doesn't heat the upstairs.

Assuming the pump is fine, then just because water gets into the radiators doesn't mean that a through-flow always occurs. A blockage or airlock on either the flow or return pipe will keep the radiators full, but cold

What would be the remedy for any sort of blockage, will i have to drain again and refill the system.Sorry if I seam a bit dumb, but new to this.

First thing you can try is to turn off all of the radiators except for one of the cold ones upstairs, thus enabling the pump to "force the issue" as it were. May be lucky and this will clear it.

Keep us appraised and then stick around for a while so we can advise you as to how to clean the system down if it works :)

Well I tried all sorts, and am still at the same state as before.I have tried what you said and ended up with none of the radiators working,so I bought a sludge remover, and I now still have the downstairs 3 working but not the upstairs.I am going to take the radiators off and flush them through with the hose to see if it helps.I let you know what happens.
