I just went away for the week-end and turned off the system before I left. When I came back I turned the heating back on and set the heating to "Constant". The heating worked fine for the first night and at the end of the evening I tried switching it to "Timer". Since then the heating has not worked at all. I have tried setting it back to "Constant" but no luck. All valves are definitely open. The pump is hot as is the pipe connected to the pump so it seems that the hot water is circulating but the rads do not get hot.

Give the pump a whack with a hammer it sounds as if the pump is seized.

i am not a plumber or heating engineer, but are the pipes on each side of the pump equaly hot?

if not it is pump.(since hot water going to pump, but not being pumped away) or pump may need bleeding
