Its a sealed system, gas boiler....
I bleeded all the rads, upstairs have great heat but downstairs is pretty bad... any idea on what is wrong??

I say it has'nt been cleaned in bout 5 years... pressure is just below 1 bar, could that be a fault too... looking for the fillerloop but cant seem to find it

Yes it well could be the problem..

Have a good look for the filling loop and bump the pressure up to 1.5bar
 
Check your pump is working.

As you appear to have a standard sealed system, look for the filling loop where the red expansion vessel is or in the airing cupboard.
 
coming off the boiler theres a connection with a lever valve on it... no filling loop i can see... can i get the pressure up to 1.5 bar if i connect the mains into that lever valve
 
Yes, if you have 1.5 Bar or more available from your incoming cold mains.

You may have the filling loop stored away somewhere?
 
Thanks 4 the help gas4you... 100% theres no filling loop to be seen.. the incoming mains is over 1 bar, il give it a bash tomoro

The other funny thing is you guy`s are still on 1/2" 3/4" and 1" imperial
Were on 15mm 22mm and 28mm metric.
