Hello!
We are in the process of updating some wooden steps at the back of our property which lead to a raised patio. These steps are currently wooden, with removable screws on two of the treads to allow (restricted height) access to the manhole.
Ideally we would replace the wooden steps with paved steps, meaning that the manhole would need to be raised by around 1.3meters.
Is this okay? Would it make the manhole too deep? It would result in about a 2 meter drop from the cover down to the actual sewer pipe.
