If I suddenly turn a tap (hot or cold) off I get a rattling pipe. I have checked the pipes and they don't seem loose at all. Is there a solution??
I did recently change taps on my bathroom sink and bath

If you've just fitted 1/4 turn taps, its common to get water hammer - "bouncing" pipes. If you can't find/get at anything loose then you'll need to add a shock absorber - isolating valve in series with a small pressure vessel. You can use separate bits or buy a small assembly for a tenner.
