the boiler ignigtes for a second then goes of and keeps doing this and no radiators are getting warm the water is working fine

Not a job you can do yourself, you will have to get a RGI out.

more info swithch the heaters on and after 3 secs switches its self off, run the hot water and when ignited we have switghed the heating back on and radiators have started to warm up any ideas
