ravenheat csi 120 problem

my boiler has started making a loud banging and grinding noise googled the problem and said it could be an airlock,as the boiler has automatic vents to prevent this, could it still be air in the system..
 
Its most likely to be the boiler is sludged or scaled up.

You will probably need professional help.

Scaled or sludged if the installer did not properly clean the system when installing.

Was it a cheap unregistered installer who you paid with cash and no receipt?

You should expect it to be under the installers guarantee IF he was genuine.

Merely calling the manufacturer will probably be a chargeable visit if they find its an installers error.

easy tiger,actually it was a freind who is on th GS registar.no money changed hands i done his roof and he put the system in.
just trying eliminate things.
he is going to drain system and put a cleaner in to see if that can sort it..
