I replaced the diverter valve on my boiler earlier on this year, the diaphram was damaged. When my heating is off, but hot water for the taps is called for, it still heats the radiators. Anyone have any ideas?
Also some times the pilot light will go out and will not relight at all, sometimes for ages. ie the next day. Again, any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks
Gav

Did you fit a genuine DV or a cheap Screwfix/BES DV?

Sounds like DV is stuck in mid position if rads are getting hot.

A quitesmall bit of dirt in the wrong place will make them "let by " quite a lot.
I've got a picture, somewhere...

 QUite likely to be the tail (heating output) end, which is the end easist to reach in one of those boilers. Anyone ever tried going in there?
