I have a refurbished Rayburn 217B which mostly burns fuel logs. I think a lot of unburnt material falls through into the ash can. Does anyone know if there is a wood-burning grate for this model? The grate in our stove is rectangular and consists of a number of firebars. I see that special woodburning grates are made but apparently only for the circular grate.

From memory they are intended for solid fuel only.
Maybe try contacting Harworth Heating they have made conversations even new heat exchanges for rayburn cooker range.
