My friend has some damp coming through the inside of his cotttage which has previously had a DPC injected and the inside wall sand and cement rendered. The original contractor who did it says the outside needs re-pointing.
We were going to hack off the inside render and re-plaster with either lime + sand or limelite or izonil as well as grinding out the outside mortar and repointing with a lime mortar.

Does anyone have any hints / tips or suggestions on what to use for the internal render?

Thanks in advance.

There's a mass of recent posts about the very same question - perhaps have a search?

Judging by the door sill, your inside FFL is at ground level for a metre or so. I presume that the floors are solid?
There seem to be injection holes in the stone.
