we have in the upstairs hall an area of carpet that is under a year old that looks like its wrinkling is the best way to describe it, how can I re stretch it (unwrinkle it), it really look sightly.

Thanks in advance

Stretching carpets requires a tool called a "kicker". It has teeth the grip the carpet and a knee-pad that you push/kick with your knee to put tension into it. Then you hook the carpet into the gripper rods.

I found lots of articles on the internet about how to do it, apparently learning to judge the right tension takes practice so I would start off with a little stretch first, see how it goes for a few weeks and then think about doing any more. Overstretching a carpet ruins it.
