Hi all,
Firstly, I have never ever in my life done any tiling so excuse my complete pig-ignorance of the subject matter.
We tore down some old cupboards, lifted carpets and opened up a fireplace. We found the hearth was tiled. Very nice, but the tiles were badly damaged so we lifted them and now want to replace them.
However the hearth is now very uneven due to left over bits of cement/adhesive/whateveritscalled left over from the old tiles.
So question is, how to I make it level again so I can lay new tiles?
Thanks!
