Recommendations for CAD software

Hi

I've got the perfect link question here between computers & DIY! I just wondered if anyone had any experience of doing their interior house designs etc. on a CAD program? I work in IT so I'm not afraid of something a bit more complex but at the same time I don't want something thats going to take 6 months to master, I just want to draw out a room to scale, add features, lighting, colours furniture etc.

Any recommendations?
