HI ,
WHEN CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM AS BEEN DRAINED DOWN WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR REFILLING ,IT IS AN INDIRECT SYSTEM WITH ITS OWN HEADER TANK ,THREE BED DETACHED WALL MOUNTED BOILER IN GARAGE.
THANKS ELLSIE

It would be rather foolhardy to drain the system without knowing how to refill it, If this is advance research or somebody else drained it fair enough.
Turn programmer to off.
Set motorised valves to man/open.
Turn the water on.
Bleed downstairs rads, check work done for leaks, add inhibitor, then upstairs.
Bleed pump and any air vents in airing cupboard.
If there are vents in the loft bleed them too.
Turn boiler stat to low and pogrammer to on.
keep an eye and ear open for any anomolies - all ok - job done
