Hi all

As you can see from the pictures, the inside of our wooden conservatory window panels are flaking and moldy in places.

I plan to...

- remove the old sealant
- sand them all back
- re-prime (maybe with a mould primer)
- sand again
- repaint with a suitable paint (off-white satinwood or something)
- re-seal

Is there anything else I need to consider?

Thank you!!

It's wood, not plasterboard.

I'm not entirely sure, but looking from the inside yes it looks like the glass and edge of the wood meet. There's sealant been applied to the length of the window, but not the end (pictured). Agree this would cause issues!

Plan is to do what I described above in the knowledge the finish will again be affected by moisture in the medium term, by which time I'll have a more permanent solution (replace the whole lot as part of a future extension)

Looks unusual. Does the plaster/plasterboard actually butt into the glass?

If so you'll have endless issues with moisture gathering there.
